Privacy Policy

Sumigram has no accounts and no servers of its own — your puzzles, stars and settings never leave your device. The app does show ads, and the ad networks behind them collect device data. This page says exactly which, and how to opt out.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, no cloud sync and no server operated by us. Your progress is written to your device and stays there. We cannot see it, and we could not retrieve it even if you asked.

What advertising collects

Sumigram is free and funded by occasional full-screen ads. Ad delivery is handled by TopOn, a mediation layer that passes each request to the ad networks listed below. For advertising, these third parties may collect:

• The Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) — only if you allow it when iOS asks. Decline and no IDFA is shared.
• Coarse device and app information: device model, OS version, language, region, app version, and a non-permanent advertising identifier.
• Ad interaction events: that an ad was requested, shown, or tapped.

This data is collected by the ad networks under their own privacy policies, not by us. We receive only aggregate revenue totals — never anything that identifies you.

Tracking permission, and how to change your mind

On first launch iOS shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Choosing “Ask App Not to Track” withholds your IDFA from every network above; the game is fully playable either way and no feature is withheld.

You can change this decision at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, or disable it for all apps there.

Analytics

The app includes Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config (Google). Analytics reports anonymous, aggregated usage — app opens, session length, device class — with no puzzle content and nothing that identifies you. Remote Config is used only to switch ad display on or off and to set the interval between ads.

What the app stores on your device

All of the following is written to the app’s own storage (NSUserDefaults, inside the app sandbox). None of it is transmitted anywhere.

• sg.puzzleProgress.<id> — per-puzzle board state, stars, elapsed time, mistake count and undo history
• sg.stats — totals: puzzles completed, time played, three-star count, ink earned
• sg.achievements — which stickers you have unlocked
• sg.inkDrops — your current ink balance
• sg.daily.completedDates, sg.daily.streak, sg.daily.bestStreak — daily challenge history and streaks
• sg.lastPlayedPuzzleId — so the app can resume where you stopped
• sg.settings.appearance, .sound, .haptics, .assist, .colorblind, .magnifier, .leftHand — your preferences
• sg.tutorialDone, sg.zoomHintShown, sg.schemaVersion — first-run and migration flags

Ad and analytics SDKs also keep their own caches and identifiers in the same sandbox.

Deleting your data

Open Settings › Reset all progress… inside the app to erase every item listed above. Deleting the app removes all of it, including SDK caches. Because none of it was ever uploaded, that is genuinely the end of it.

Device permissions

Sumigram requests no system permissions — no camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts, or notifications. The only prompt you will see is the tracking request described above, which is a consent dialog rather than a device permission.

Third-party services

Mediation: TopOn. Ad networks reached through it: AppLovin is not integrated; the eleven that are: Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, Pangle, Unity Ads, ironSource, Vungle (Liftoff), InMobi, BIGO Ads, Fyber (DT Exchange), StartApp and Yandex Ads. Analytics: Google Firebase.

Each operates under its own privacy policy. If you want the full detail of what any one of them collects, their published policies are the authoritative source.

Children

Sumigram is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The ads served are configured as non-personalised where a network supports that setting.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change — a new SDK, a new identifier — this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
